Being a good person and helping others does not qualify as being a Christian in itself and non-believers shouldn't expect a benevolent ticket to the afterlife based purely on good deeds:

John 3:36: “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

John 3:18: "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."

Thessalonians 1:8-9
"In flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might"

No, because you can be an Atheist a Muslim or a Buddhist and do all that, which would not mean that you would suddenly become a Christian.

When Paul wrote to Titus, in chapter 3v5 he said this - "He (Christ) saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit".
