    U23's Win Again

    Believe its 9 wins now , top of the table , great to see the investment made a few years back is now delivering the benefits .

    Could be VT best legacy .

    It's extremely encouraging, isn't it. Cian Ashford, who played for the U23's, is just 16 years of age! Can you imagine what it must take to make that kind of step up? The club turned down a bid from Leeds United recently. He's already been capped for Wales at U17 level.
    He's a goal-scoring midfielder who definitely has a bright future.
    I should also add, he's been at the club since he was just 6 years old!

    A good few people who should know (including former Academy players) give Bellamy a lot of the credit for the transformation of the Academy.

    No, we’d need a category one academy to do that.
