Yeah I think Jon1959 has posted something similar. I met Dylan's mother and grandmother at a couple of recent Wales away games. Decent people that keep him grounded and they are steeped in North Wales football. Clearly a talent but in the games he played in the Nations League he was tops vs Poland but bang average vs the Netherlands. Still Man Utd extended his contract presumably to get a loan fee as he was highly rated up at Dundee Utd. Probably more experienced than Tommy Doyle and well worth a punt if we can get him.
Some murmurings about Paddy Lane - winger from Fleetwood Town.

It would make sense as he ticks a lot of boxes we seem to consider. Can play a load of positions including left back (played there for N. Ireland, both wings and attacking mid. Is young, got good physical attributes and is cheap. Question is is anything more expensive than free cheap enough for us?
We’ve paid fees for Tanner (believed to be about £40k) and Romeo (judging by Millwall’s recent spending, it.seems we paid about £3 million for him, but I think maybe a couple of hundred grand is more realistic).
If we’re looking to bring in five loan signings, my guess is that we’ll be spending a seven figure sum in loan fees.
WOL reported that the Mahlon Romeo transfer was 'understood' to be a free - despite being announced at both ends as 'undisclosed'.

Bluebirds' stance on Paddy Lane
Cardiff City have made enquiries about Fleetwood Town youngster Paddy Lane but are not actively pursuing a transfer, WalesOnline has been told.
Reports on Monday stated that Cardiff and Hearts were interested in the 21-year-old Northern Ireland international, with West Ham having previously scouted the midfielder.
However, while Cardiff had taken an initial look at the player, it quickly became apparent Fleetwood's demands far outweighed where Cardiff valued him.
Lane was named the League One player of the year last season, but given it is his first season at that level of football the asking price for his signature was thought to be inflated in the current market, so Cardiff won't be pursuing further.

'Dylan Levitt Manchester United transfer latest as Cardiff City could hijack Dundee United's loan move.'

'Manchester United are reportedly demanding a fee of £300,000 plus extras for Dylan Levitt amid interest from Dundee United and Cardiff City.'
I just watched this video of him and it just goes to show that anything counts as "highlights" on YouTube:

Yes - especially if the Sawyers stories are true.
Wintle, Adams, Ralls, Rinomhota and King covering the midfield positions. If Sawyers arrives he would either be in that mix or competing with Colwill as a No 10.
I think we still need at least a creative midfielder, an experienced centre back, a right wing option (maybe a younger Premier League or European loan) and two strikers (one with experience - a Jordan Hugill or better). Depends too on who is moved out permanently or sent on loan. Tom Sang has already been airbrushed out of existence on the club team pages (unlike Gavin Whyte)
And whether any of the younger players on the fringe of the first team squad are likely to force their way into contention and need a pathway (one not blocked by new signings or loans). Semenyo or Zimba maybe in the second half of the season if they kick on in the first half?

Dundee United are still trying to secure a deal for Manchester United midfielder Dylan Levitt and reports suggest they could get something across the line within the next 24 hours.
According to Courier Sport, Levitt was locked in advanced talks with United chiefs on Wednesday evening to iron out the finer details ahead of a return to the Tangerines.
The Wales international could become Jack Ross’ first signing as Dundee United, however, it is not clear if this will be a second loan move or a permanent switch.
The report adds that Levitt believes Dundee United is the ideal place to continue his development and ensure he has the platform to plat first-team football.
