Yes means you would need to stop at a service station for 15-20mins and use a fast charger.
Serious question, have you ever done a 300mile round trip without stopping at the services for a piss/coffee/stretch your legs?

When I thought about it I have never driven Cardiff to London without a 15 min stop at the services, so a electric car would not actually add any time to my journey.

My round trip for home games is 410 miles. In recent years I have usually done both legs non-stop. Obviously anyone doing a round trip to a match has to stop in the middle - for a piss, coffee and a football match - or there is no point. I want to switch to an electric car as soon as it becomes practical (probably more to do with battery life than availability of charging points) but we're not there yet.

Yes I do stop but noticed on several occasions that the charging points were occupied so the thought of queuing up waiting for a point to be free is off putting. However, when there is more charging infrastructure in place that wouldn't be a problem.
