Great player for Swansea, Arsenal and City.
RIP
The player who scored the only goal in my first ever City game.
R.I.P.

RIP Mel
I was lucky to see Mel play for the City during the 60s along with Allchurch. Great player, and will be missed by the football world. There are a few clips on You tube featuring Wales with Mel in 1958 WC. Super footballer.
R.I.P Mel Charles
RIP. My dad had the pleasure of watching both players.
Faint memories of him playing for us but as everyone has stated a sad loss. RIP.
Why no mention on Club's official site?
Very poor.
