But if JRH was a better footballer he wouldn't need to.

Ralls is one of our only saleable assets and even then he wouldn't bring much in.

I'd certainly not trust the current mob to spend what he's worth on a youngster and hope he turns out as good as Ralls.

Ralls is our only home grown player that's good enough, or near good enough. He has to stay and he's far from our biggest problem.

He’s shit. Who is going to buy him in the current climate?

The Championship is moving on. You’ve got to be able to play as well as put the effort in. He wouldn’t get anywhere near the top sides in this division.

About 2 million? and i agree, i wouldn't trust the club to invest it wisely.

I was thinking more like £1.5m - guess that buys us a loan move for someone of Wilsons ability and not worth it.

All the midfield have to be moved on. None of them are good enough. It’s a league 1 midfield.

He's a problem if the style of football starts to change, he's slow on the ball, he doesn't have that zip to his play. That's not to say that i don't think he's decent at what he does. Half tidy footballer, honest, doesn't hide, good attributes.

Brilliant who are you then so we can compare you to a player like Ralls.

Yeah, around about there. Established at this level, played in a promotion winning side, just turned 27,you know what you're getting. How much would you say?

Seeing as Gavin Whyte & Will Vaulks cost £2m, I imagine Joe Ralls, a player with over 250 appearances at Championship level or higher, would cost a little more

By that logic every centre half in the league is worth 50m if Benkovic was valued at 13m

Until we have a player that has come through our academy, we'll have to name a token player on the bench to abide by EFL rules.

Ralls is our best midfielder and by a distance in my opinion. That's not a good thing but he's streets ahead of Pack and Vaulks.

Browne, Johnson and Pearson are out of contract at PNE, as is the centre half Davies. I'd sign all 4 of them and I'd take the manager, too.

OK without divulging your name or who you played for how many games did you play in the top two leagues? Throw goals in too.

Or were you a keeper / defender.

Go on back yourself against him.

Ralls would be fine doing the donkey work alongside a couple of more creative players.

The summer 2019 transfer window was an absolute shocker and will cost us fir the next couple of seasons at least.
I don't ever recall anyone on this forum suggesting we'd become 'world-beaters' by having a change of manager. Stop exaggerating.

On another note.... you're an ex-Championship player, from Merthyr?
