Sky Sports Super 6? - How close have you been?

I'm usually pretty dire with my predictions but last Saturday I had a close one:-

    Barnsley 1 Watford 0 correct
    Bournemouth 1 Derby 1 correct
    Preston 1 Birmingham 2 correct
    Middlesbrough 1 Forest 0 correct
    Burnley 0 Chelsea 3 ** I had 1-3
    Swansea 2 Blackburn 0 ** I had 2-2

Only 3 goals away from scooping the jackpot.

22 points, my previous best was 19.

Strangely, I have never predicted the 6 results correct so it's a good job i've never put money on an accumulator.

    Anyone else been close?

A couple of years ago my partner had all six scores right with about eight minutes plus injury time left to play. She ended up with three correct scores and only four correct results, so she didn't even get the consolation of winning with her accumulator (we always have £1 each on the six results).

The most I've ever had was early last season when I had four correct scores and a correct result in one of the other two games, but I was miles off with the game I got wrong, so never close to the jackpot.

Just checked my records and since I started keeping track I've had all six results right on 7 occasions:

    2014/15 - once
    2015/16 - once
    2016/17 - twice
    2017/18 - twice
    2018/19 - nil
    2019/20 - once
    2020/21 - nil

This has been a terrible season for me as regards bets and Super 6 points. Not a sniff so far.

Think I got 17 points once but usually I'm rubbish.
I hate putting a nil for any team, but if I do you can almost guarantee that they'll be the first team to score.

This exact thing happened to me on Saturday. I predicted Preston 0 Birmingham 0. Two minutes played, Preston 0 Birmingham 1. First goal anywhere in the country. The jackpot dream was shelved for another few days.....

    Usually £250,000. Sometimes £1,000,000.

Is there a way I can check my results from previous seasons via the Super 6 page?

I have never played, so not really sure how it works, does that mean you won money on each of those occasions?

Not that I'm aware of. I started recording all of my football bets in 2014 in a bid to ensure I wasn't wasting too much money on it, so I started recording all of my S6 results at the same time just for fun. I don't think you can view previous seasons on the S6 page, just the current one.

    21. Was a high scoring week. My mates missus had 24 same week.

    Not anywhere near that usually.

Yes, but that's with the bookies. I just put £1 a round on my Super Six results predictions, not the correct score predictions.

Not sure if any of you know, but there's a Super 6 Extra option for Man City v Liverpool.

Despite many encouraging messages from Jeff, I've never had a sniff - which is why I use dice to predict scores now.

Don’t think I’ve had more than 6 this season so far, usually end up with 4.

I’ve had 21 before but remember being on 27 with about 15 mins to go and needed another goal to get the 30.
Needless to say it went to shit and I ended up with about 14pts.

I had Cardiff to win 3-0 tonight

(Mind you I also had Liverpool to lose 3-1)

11 last night, had the City to win 2-1, Man City 3-0 Bayern 4-0, Blackburn v Middlesbrough 1-1. Shite, in other words

Most I've had was 19, but my son got 22 - no payout.
Following week 21 got the prize (1 match potponed)

Re: Sky Sports Super 6? - How close have you been?

Was on holiday in Tenerife a few years ago asked the Mrs what scores did she think in the pick 6 and she randomly shouted them out, with a few rolling of the eyes from me.
Later that afternoon we were having a few beers watching the scores, looking at the telly the Mrs said I told they would win and them, so when I checked my super 6 she called all 6 games correct with 4 correct scores giving her 24 points.. . ..................
She said to me is that good?
My reply not bad love for your first attempt 😅😇🍻
