For some reason, to "boost Saturday attendances", midweek games are always miles away. I don't think it's part of some great conspiracy though.

I booked flights to foreign parts in both September and January - but am pleased to see that we have away games on the two weekends I will be missing

No one has ever said the fixtures are random have they? Certain teams have to be away on the same days, boxing day and NYD fixtures are supposed to be easier for travellers etc.
