Duckett was only batsman who made runs last year …..
Just what I was thinking - they paid a fortune for Clarke who blocked three and then was out off the fourth. Even if the bowlers manage to pull off a miracle, it’s been such a poor batting performance by the so called specialists.
To be honest, although I was supporting the side with Welsh in their name, I identified most with the Glamorgan player on the field. Wales have got a mediocre side made up of mercenaries representing them and I think they need at least one Glamorgan player in there, or someone like Welsh born Phil Salt, to give them some sort of Welsh identity.
