From what I glean from above, this Guppy bloke was after this other bloke's address, and was trying to get it from Johnson, but Johnson didn't give it to him. Sounds like BJ wouldn't minded him having a black eye or two, but 'arranging to have someone beaten up ' ? That's not how I read it.

I disagree with you, but if we assume you’re right, that still leaves stuff like sackings for lying to consider.
