    Sunday afternoon footie

Palace 0-2 Leicester (just before HT)

The eagles dominating for half an hour, looking impressive then bang bang. Suicidal defending.

    Bit like us really

Who do they think they are? They should be sitting back and trying to spoil. They have no right to be acting like Fancy-Dans. West Ham supplied the core of the 1966 World Cup winning team and poxy little Brentford just showed them no respect. What is football coming to?

City drew 1-1 with Brentford on 20th April. The only player in the starting line-up that day who is no longer with the club was Harry Wilson.

I think it's fair to say the clubs have moved in different directions since then.

Quite. Brentford obviously don't understand that being in the EPL is all about "enjoying the ride".

It almost makes me think we got it wrong.

Didn't see the Brentford game but notice they only had 39% possession.

    That sounds like us

    Liverpool 1 nil, Manè.

Man Citeh have had their chances and have been the better side overall.
As we all know, you've gotta take your chances!

    Game on!

Brilliant from Salah and brilliant from De Bruyne

Some wonderful stuff in that game. Pep understandably, I’d say, getting his hair off over Milner escaping a red card, Klopp realising that he was on borrowed time hooking him soon after. Great game.

    That was a ridiculous non-decision.

Referees ARE influenced by crowds. You’ve seen it, I’ve seen it. Any other club, that’s a yellow and a sending off.
Despite Salah’s goal( I thought the goalie should have stopped it) Liverpool’s defence is crap, even with Van Dijk back in the team.
