As for the soccer schools I would rather cardiff and swansea are involved than Liverpool and man united

Never known United or Liverpool to do a Soccer School in a school in a South Wales. I’ll stand corrected if someone can put me right.

As for the other thing, the lad in question was a motivating figure for galvanising the Merthyr support in saving their club. He continued to play a role after that lending his knowledge and skills for nothing in addition to paying his monies into the club.

If Cardiff City were the community orientated football philanthropists’ you seem to think they are, they’d be best advised to stop charging stupid prices to schools. The wife tells me Swansea’s school community programme pisses over City’s from a great height.

She was very disappointed with City’s product.

She was more complimentary about their match day community day but again said Swansea were edging that also.
