Over the last 10 years I actually think we've done well considering our limitations.
And there you have pluckily little Cardiff syndrome described to a tee. We were in the top ten best supported teams in the country in 18/19 and our two promotions to the Premier League in the last decade have netted us £200 million plus. In Vincent Tan’s time we’ve spent more than enough to establish ourselves as a Palace, Brighton, Burnley or Watford type club, in fact, we probably should be more akin to a Leicester or Southampton - Warnock and Mackay/Ole were given more than enough in terms of a budget to ensure we didn’t end up with a uniquely bad Premier League record.
