At times he’s outlandish but you must agree with most of what he says don’t you ?

Some of it - not most of it.

I agree with some of it, but it’s strange to hear someone on here (I don’t mean you) who defended the Government’s policy on Rwanda on the grounds that those opposing it had nothing better to offer when all he does is rant on about everything without saying what should be happening instead.

He backs the Union, so I take it he holds the UK Government largely responsible for the domestic mess he is so annoyed about andyet he criticises more opposition politicians by name than he does Government ones - I didn’t get that until I saw what channel he was on.

It was a giveaway when he name-checked three politicians and decided that in addition to Johnson and Starmer (fair enough) Rayner was right up there. Then his rant about 'partygate... porngate.... etc' started to sound more and more like the apologist 'just a bit of cake' line that LOM specialises in. Then a full on tin-foil hat rendition of anti-lockdown and anti-vaccine greatest hits! He should stick to the archaeology and playing hairy sidekick to Alice Roberts on Picts and Celts documentaries.
