Here in Poland it’s like the Olympic Games don’t exist, except for Sushi being on offer in the local supermarket.

I don’t think we realise in UK how lucky we are with the diversity and availability of sports.

No, not yet, which is sad when I think back to Tokyo 1964, the first Olympics I took any interest in - I used to come running into to watch it as soon as this very memorable tune was played. Memories of Lyn "the leap" Davies, Mary Rand and Ann Packer.
