    Gives him time to work with the players, assess the squad thoroughly before taking over rather than being thrown in the deep end

    Isn't the reason Roy Keane hates McCarthy for the fact that he was so ****ing unprofessional with Ireland.? That is the complete opposite to how Bellamy operates.

    He was a manager employed by the FAI, not a union rep elected by the players.
