    Eubank - Benn

Leaving it to the experts, but it seems like Eubank’s size will be the deciding factor. As long as he gets through the first six rounds, he should take it — is that the general consensus?

One thing’s for sure, he’s definitely got under Benn’s skin and rattled his team. Just hoping it turns out to be a cracking fight.

Connor Benn is an absolute disgrace and shouldnt be allowed to box.

I hope Eubank flattens him in round 1.

It all depends how much Eubank has got left. He did have a solid chin his legs were gone against Smith who isn't a big puncher.

If Eubank was at his best I think he'd end Benn in 3 rounds. However I think he's probably near washed up.

It all depends what Eubank has left. I reckon he has enough to win a decision because Connor Benn is basically crap.

My interest in boxing has waned over the years but I’m genuinely puzzled at the interest generated in this fight.

Some will pay for it and that’s the bottom line. Sporting wise, what’s the point?

There are plenty of tickets available for this fight despite Eddie's best efforts.

I was at the 2nd Eubank v Benn fight. Bit of a disappointment after the first.

This is PPV and in a stadium because of their names. Benn in particular has done absolutely nothing to be on PPV. Hasn't even taken on good British title level fighters.

There’s no bigger fight in boxing at the moment according to 2nd hand car salesman . He’s as snaky as they come but you got to give him his dues when selling a fight.

Ironic that Benn Sr was the man of the people when he was boxing and now 99% of the people want his son to get smashed, even against someone like Chris Eubank Jr.

This is my thinking as well. No sporting interest in this mis-weigjht match up whatsoever.

Neither offspring are anywhere near top class boxers

    Eubank has missed the weight.

His punch resistance and strength is going to be questionable.

I'm resigned to City being relegated. Seeing those w@nkers Benn and Hearn celebrating tonight would be horrible and the TV switched off for a week

    Cmon Eubank !!!!

Whilst I don’t particularly like either guy, from what I know of them, it is an intriguing match up. Neither are anywhere near as good as their Dads, and this fight is only happening because of the history of the Dads.
Benn has looked ferocious in his few fights so far, but hasn’t fought anyone of note. Eubank Jnr has failed to perform in most of his big fights.
If EJ was in his prime, he’d probably have enough to see off Benn, and may well do tonight, but Benn will be at him from the off like a man possessed.
If I was to put money on it, I’d do Benn to stop him in 5th or 6th round

He didn't look ferocious pre eggs and hasn't looked ferocious post eggs.

He also said yesterday that it’s the most anticipated match up in British boxing history 😂😂

Eubank has come in just inside the rehydration limit so no more fines.

Nothing like splatting an egg on your opponent at a pre fight event to turn the once noble sport of boxing into a WrestleMania like event.

I don't think this fight is for the purists.

I hope Eubank smahes Benn, the dirty little omelette Juicing is bad enough in any sport, But Boxing, where people are killed in the ring.... Life time ban if it was up to me.

    Totally agree.

My concern is that EJ is shot, he beat an 'old' Liam Smith and he's obviously slower now, never the greatest technical boxer, but very busy, high output and a decent jab. He looked so drained at the weight yesterday, 160 is very difficult for him at 35.

I think he is shot. His chin was solid. However his legs were gone against Liam Smith who isn't a big puncher.

My hope is he's still good enough to beat Benn.

Eubank Snr despite saying he wanted nothing to do with the event has arrived with his son.

    Re: Eubank - Benn

Well that was better than I expected.
Both fighters giving their all till the final bell. Can’t ask for more than that. Correct result by all 3 judges in my humble opinion.

Great way to end the day.

he's a very unlikeable kid (Benn) but that was a great performance against a bigger (but slightly drained looking) Eubank Jr, a lot closer than I expected..
