Well, even if we don’t end up appointing Barry-Murphy (and you’ve got to start wondering if we will given our track record), we did get around to publishing our retained list and announcing a pre season friendly on the 12th!

Great article, balanced as always, I'm really hopeful that for the first time in a long time we have a coach who can actually improve players, someting the Jacks do far better than us.

A good piece, but the more I read and hear about BBM the more I'm convinced we're going down the wrong road. He's a coach not a manager, and whilst he may well be excellent at bringing through young talent, his job is to win football matches on a Saturday afternoon. With League 1 sides getting behind the ball against the might of Cardiff City I'm dreading even more aimless and ponderous build up play, and the introduction of more 'tricky' players at the expense of pace. For me, a bad choice.

I also have concerms about appointing a coach type manager due to the complete lack of infrastructure at the club. At Cardiff the manager has to do everything bar drive the team bus.
