It’s probably a good thing that Otto doesn’t single handedly have the wealth to fund a takeover of Cardiff City because it means he has to answer to least one investor (it seems he currently has two investors ready to back him here) and his recent experience shows he’s quite happy to implement and manage the expectations of multiple backers.
If his consortium is successful then I think it would be a missed opportunity for Otto not to contact the Bale group and work on a plan to incorporate them as club investors. There’s plenty of room in the directors box, and I think Gareth Bale still has a good opportunity to take his seat there.
Regarding Otto and from what little information there is out there, it does seem he is very hands on and happy to get into the detail of the day-to-day operations which would be a breath of fresh air given the carefree delegated approach the club has had to endure for 13+ years.
