    Club issue more replica shirts

Interesting to see on Twitter that the Club is re-issuing a number of 'old' shirts - Leekes, GileSports, SportsCafe, and the 'dandruff' Echo shirt. No doubt they'll all sell well.
Personally, I'm a bit torn with this. On one hand, I'm one of those that likes a moan about the awful range of t-shirts and sweat-shirts that are on sale in the club shop, so it's good to see them selling something half-decent. On the other hand, I'm a big collector of old City shirts, and every time the club re-issues one, the value falls. Nice to see decent shirts on sale, not so keen on it affecting the value and rarity of my collection.
Anyone who buys and sells shirts for a living must be pulling their hair out.

Sod that, it gives new fans a chance to get some of the old shirts, they are not investments, buy some Nvidia or AMD shares if you want to invest. Well done, the club, another improvement.

I would never buy a shirt with a sponsor's name on it. You might as well carry a sandwich board.

Even if that company no longer exists, such as Gilesports or Sports Cafe?

These won't be the originals though, and from a quick look it seems the kit manufacturers aren't involved. Kind of a reimagining.

These are like a more complete version of the retro style ones they often put out.

Good for Christmas or any other time you want a replica without the worm but if someone actually wants the proper replica from the time these aren't going to be it.

There are plenty of items of clothing that can be treated as an investment, just like most items if there's demand. Whether there is for old city shirts I'm not sure.

A company can issue more shares so it's actually very similar
