6 defenders at home to Sunderland ffs. Absolute joke.

This game is crying out for Tomlin and / or the new fella.
If we start playing the ball into feet to a number 10 then yes let’s get Tomlin on. However I can’t see is changing our tactics to that extent.
I don’t think Paterson is playing attacking midfield if you ask me. He’s in midfeild and getting forward. Same as Ralls.

I agree, he seems a bit of a flat track bully but if so you have to let him loose on those that can be bullied - like Sunderland.

He is defintly playing further forward than Ralls.
The whole formation is just a mish mash to be honest.

Ha ha good header. Funny old game football, fine fine lines.
All jokes aside I take your point. He’s not very pretty to watch but the way we play he gives us a presence at times which we lack

Harsh red that. WTF was Coleman thinking starting NDong though?

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SUNDERLAND AFC. Match thread
This is more like it. Breaking quickly, Ken using his pace and power to turn the defender, that’s what we were doing early doors this season and having great success.
We look far better than when we just lump aimless balls forward.

And I can hear the YOU JACK BASTARD chants. I have to say, it's a good day so far.

Who is the commentator over there? The one over here pronounces Zohore "Zahoray".

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SUNDERLAND AFC. Match thread
Morrison injured wrist / arm ? Take him off surely.

Very well taken.

Most satisfactory. Well done City.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SUNDERLAND AFC. Match thread
Can see why Warnock wanted Yanic Wildschut, looks very quick and direct, a bit like NML was early doors of the season.

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 4 - 0 SUNDERLAND AFC. Match thread
Just needed that goal to kick start us again played well second half lots of positives Ralls 10/10 the new boy looks dangerous, glimpses of zahore coming back and hopefully a couple of fresh faces and players coming back we could get back on track. What s happened to Bryson? Can't seem to find anything on his injury news. If we could get pills to sign a new contract on reduced wages as I can't see anyone paying him what we're I would like to keep him gives us another option upfront

Much needed result and potential banana skin avoided. Hopefully that will settle the nerves a bit.

Didnt say anything earlier- just let you hang yourself with your own words. You (and others on this thread) obviously know absolutely nothing about football. Paterson man of match, NML not far behind. Excellent selection/tactics by Warnock bearing in mind available personnel.

Agreed. Paterson was a physical presence we needed. Not the prettiest but did a job. Well taken goals too. Doesn’t bode well for Tomlin though if he can’t get a game at home against bottom of the league Sunderland during a midfield injury crisis. Just don’t think Warnock fancies him.

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 4 - 0 SUNDERLAND AFC. Match thread
Perspective needed about who's good, who's better than who etc...
Sunderland were a poor side.
Yes okay you can only beat what's in front of you but there were times today at 1 nil and they were down to 10, when you just wanted someone to put their foot on the ball and slow it down, let them do the chasing.
We play the same way whatever the score and can be frustrating.
We ain't quite ready to take on the world again but the win was important to firstly stop the slide and secondly to breed some confidence.
Well done City :ayatollah:

I was surprised not to see Tomlin today. I thought he could have played a little deeper and really bossed that midfield.
