And (NSASWA), by that I don't mean the rest of the team
No, seriously, apart from his two wonderful free kicks, he doesn't seem to be very mobile or putting any tackles/challenges in.
Is he suffering from a hard season ?
Only asking like
Without question he is carrying an injury.
Or maybe Coleman has told him to save himself until the knockouts?
Coleman's tactical sheets leaked.
Or he runs himself into the ground alongside Ramsey and has nothing left then in the last twenty. Wheres Sammy Ameobi when you need him.
He managed to leap like a salmon in the last minute of injury time. Maybe the opposing teams are doing a decent job of stopping him getting into his stride, although I wouldn't be surprised if had some end of season fatigue.
Rambo's game seems to be off too. Also, with Joe Allen in midfield, I'm surprised we don't try to play more of a patient, possession game.
if he's CARRYING it maybe he shud put it DOWN :HEHE: :HEHE: :HEHE:
I was wondering the same as on a couple of occasions in positions where he'd normally run at the opposition he instead slowed play down and passed it instead
I felt that he was carrying a knock. We have seen very few surging runs and he has hardly bothered to close down the opposition. Without his freekicks his contribution would have been pretty minimal and that's not the Bale we know.
Rambo has been excellent in both games...tackling..running with the ball..good passing.
Much improved on his Arsenal form.

Rambo off? He's been excellent covering every blade of grass, Allen as also been very good.
Back to the OP, If Bale was injured or carrying a knock I'd doubt he'd be taking part in every training session, he's just been getting a lot of attention from the opposition in my opinion, but has still managed to get two goals from doing very little offensively.
No hes not injured hes just looking after himself for next season
