Before all this kicked off there were some very strong opinions on how the Welsh Health Services were being run in Wales , I just hope the administrations have upped their game , as thier front line staff really do need them and the supply lines working asvthdy should . Perhaps we should examine the efficiency of the welsh management before we fully launch into the blame game ?
Yes Westminster has Boris, Corbyn and Diane Abbott.
The Bae has Adam Price when he was in Westminster he won award after award for best politician in the place, Harvard type, we have Leanne Wood girl of the people, done lots of ordinary jobs, front line activist, lives in the same street she was brought up, it's said she doesn't take pay rises and gives loads to charity, uses public transport to get work etc.
I know they are Plaid politicians but come on they are different gravy to most of those in Westminster, look at the Scottish Parliament they have Nicola Sturgeon and she is the best first minister, prime minister type in the UK and she is not in Westminster.
If you think Nicola Sturgeon is the best politician in the country then you have a very strange idea of what constitutes good.
She is presiding over a government that is so obsessed with independence that it has neglected it first duties to the degree where the scottish economy is in Billions of pounds of debt, their health service is even worse than the welsh one, god help them, and she is telling people they will be better off without the rest of britain propping the country up. They have a disproprtionate number of MP's a thing vigerously defended by the labour party when they were all red, until the SNP came and bit them, so their numbers in parliament are part of the reason that labour are unlikely to get a majority any time soon and she is the best politician in the country. Again, God help us!!
When they had leaders debates in previous elections the English press often thought she won, that she beat the Westminster politicians who were Prime Ministers and leaders of Her Majesty's opposion, yet the English media thought she came out on top as regards domestic politics her party is dominant and has been for sometime now.
Having a debate and running a country are so far removed from each other as to be irrelevant. She has had time to being to sort these problem out but has done nothing but bang the eveolution drum. Speak to Scots living and wroking south of the border and ask their opinion.
Trampie / Organ fail to grasp lil Krankie doesn't really want independence.
Rail against EEEVVVIIILLLL English? Gets voters in Jockland. Get independence? Eh, then SNP would have to stand on their performance, can't blame Westminster.
She's like Scrappy Doo except wanting to be held back.
Is Organ a valley commando that supports all Welsh teams across all sports and politically does he vote for the home team ?
Not sure any nationalist party can say they'd be better off, just that they'd be responsible for their issues and could make different decisions. Is she the best politician? I think you raise some valid points, not enough is made of SNP's limitations with what they do control, but hope you remember that she first came to prominence during debates with David Cameron when pundits remarked that the eventual prime minister of the UK knew so little about Scotland that couldn't counter her debate points...
Isn't that enough of a concern? Wales is literally forgotten, at least until it's time to bash labour in Westminster, so that investment only happens when attached to Bristol. We need better politicians too (we ended up with Kent's finest who once got drunk in Common's bar so missed a vote and Neil Hamilton because there are some people living in Wales who hate the idea of Wales being distinct from England in any way) and better media because the twitter page "That's devolved" has far, far too many entries. The thing is tbhat there are a number of welsh people who have it in their hgeads that every person in any authority in England has an agenda to put down the welsh, whereas in reality most people in that position in England never even think about Wales
As long as our media coverage is dominated by unionist, London outlets I can understand why so many Welsh people have a negative opinion of our own ability.
Just out of curiosity, why are some people against people in Wales making decisions that affect Wales? Why is Wales better off being ruled far away in London by MPs, very few of whom live here and don't always consider Wales when making decisions?
These letters to vulnerable people is yet another example of how much better it is for government and service in wales to be run by wales!!!!
