Not sure about Chippy Lane, but Caroline Street is like that every Friday and Saturday night, and the council do a remarkable job in cleaning it up before most of us have woken up the next day.

Canton is the best for a Curry in Cardiff.
They’re about 5-6 restaurants along the entire length of it and a similar amount of Indian/Bangladeshi take aways too.
Remember about 20 years ago when you could drive and park down Caroline St.
The state of those cars were in come about 3am.
That picture from Saturday looks an improvement to me.
Why they not putting temporary bins or skips down there is beyond me.
It means people have only been saying Chippy Lane since 2001 at the earliest. So anyone who ever spent a night in town and ended up on Caroline Street before that is old enough to know that "Chippy Lane" is bollocks.
