    Now piss off
recession, growth, when you're talking in terms of a percentage of a percentage it's not significant either way. The likes of the BBC et al love to use phrases such as 'the UK is now technically in recession' but it does create the dramatic headline. Here's one for you ...

Someone/a couple with a £300,000 mortgage are now paying £13,000 a year more than they were 18 months ago.

If you read one thing today then read this. “The week in Tory”. Honestly, if it wasn’t so tragic it would be hysterical https://twitter.com/russincheshire/s...LTsVTx09ZSEfIA

Here you go Sludge. I've written it in capital letters, and provided links to your favourite newspaper in the hope that you will read it and stop lying.

I've also provided a link to the champions league final as you probably refuse to believe Man City won that too, under your odd 'if I didn't want it to happen then it didn't happen' policy

No comment on those reports saying we were worse off than we were in 2008 at a couple of dates during this decade and we still will be in 2025 and 2026 then?

I prefer facts Bob. 2026 is three years ago. The same predictions said we would be in recession now and we arent.

I know it pains some but just accept some moderately positive news for once, can't you?!

The reports say we were worse off in 2020 and 2022 than we twelve and fourteen years earlier - there is no other time in my life when this applied, it also appears that we’ll be poorer in 2025 and 2026 than we were almost twenty years previously. So, sorry, I can’t get too enthusiastic about us having growth of something like 0:2 per cent at the moment, whereasGermany and the Eurozone are in recession.

UK residents are worse off than they were when we reached the FA Cup Final under Dave Jones, that’s disgraceful and, apart from less than two years at the start, the same party has been in Government throughout.

Scandalous! PartyGate shows they *knew* the threat to most people was negligible, but instead of shielding and helping elderly and immunocompromised people *genuinely* at risk, they locked you down, masked you up, crashed the economy, and set civil liberties back a generation.

It's actually worse, not only are we saying that the average Brit gets paid in real terms the same (less if you remove min wage) than they did decades ago, priority bills have sky rocketed.

As for the idea that a .x% growth rate does anything for the average person in a country we know is getting more unequal by the day, well that's just desperation.

How do two hundred and fifty odd MPs justify their decision to abstain in last night’s vote?
