I agree too, but they are all at it, they say one thing and do another, and the more power they get the worse it gets.

That change is actually good, many doctors were retiring earlier as they did have problems with annual funding amounts into their pensions, and overfunding the lifetime pension allowance.

They all are and I'd go further to say they lie and use voters by using their emotions in the exchange for votes.. Then fail to deliver or find a reason not too deliver. Yes both left and right.


Most humans given a chance would apply the same tax dodge if they could in fact hypocrites are everywhere if folk paid their taxes, kept within the law we wouldn't need government and laws..

Everyone would do the same it's human nature, if there is a legal way to make more money or keep more by tax loopholes people will use them.

I agree with most of this but when was the last leftist in power? I'd view Blair and Starmer as centrists who suck from Rupert Murdoch's teet.

The twelfth paragraph of the Daily Mail story appears to invalidate what comes before it - genuine question, can someone who’s better qualified on tax matters than me explain why that is not the case.

My question got ignored, so I suppose I should assume that I was right - therefore, it would appear to be a case of nothing to see here.

I doubt he's anyone's ideal choice at anything, he's just a bit of a non-entity.

Unfortunately that seems to be the way they have to play it in order to get back into power.

not too controversial or scary for the centre-right, nothing really about him for the Tory press to tear into - they've been having a go but its all been pretty pathetic stuff like this so none of it has landed yet other than with the more fanatic Tory supporters who would never vote for him anyway.

I'm not at all keen on the man and there's nothing much for us left of centre people. However, given the calamitous past 13 years we just have to grin and bear it just to get these awful Tories out.

I hope to god if he wins the election he quickly gets ousted as he's absolutely weak and hopeless and I don't know any of my friends who are voting for him because he's any good , it's because they want the tories out

Labour need to get nandy in and get the likes of yvette Cooper, Angela Raynor and the other no hopers away from the front bench

Honestly now, what fundementally do you think will change?

I do accept the general idea of the need for change at the top every few years (which also very much applies in the senedd of course) and a desire to punish them for partygate for what happened etc, if that's a big issue for people.

But what honestly do people think will really change?
