The vast majority of pounds, euros, dollars, etc, are already digital. CBDC digital currency is all about direct control by a central bank.

And CBDC digital currency will be just more fiat currency which has nil intrinsic value because it's backed by precisely nothing. It is why an infinite amount of magic money tree money can be created.

Yeah, ask 100 random people do they know what fractional reserve banking is and 99 of them will look baffled.

CBDC will be the cornerstone of our forthcoming digital prison. Either do as you're told at all times or have your bank account frozen and your digital ID erased.

Yeah, ask 100 random people do they know what fractional reserve banking is and 99 of them will look baffled.

CBDC will be the cornerstone of our forthcoming digital prison. Either do as you're told at all times or have your bank account frozen and your digital ID erased.

all the sneaky carbon taxes on everything you buy under the guise of climate change , 15 minute cities, the reduction of farm land products the list is endless whats being prepared

I’m not against it per se, as I rarely use cash these days , but i can see UBI coming in sooner rather than later and if it’s digital the CBC stakeholders hold the cards in the long term with the potential for people being “sanctioned” for certain wrongdoings etc

Have they decided whether or not CBDC will be programmable, cos that's where things will get interesting.
