Life expectancy in the UK is coming down, by your logic, you have to blame the Tories for that.Originally posted by life on mars View PostAbout time a very corrupt self centred pair of individuals whose only message was leave.

Re: Nicola Sturgeon's husband arrested
Support for the SNP is down 6% from 2019 (45% to 39% - was 52% in November); support for Labour is up 10% (19% to 29%). The Tories are down 3% to 22%, Lib Dems down 4% to 6%; with Greens at 2%, Reform at 2% and Alba at 1%.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostWill there be a backlash against the SNP and will it be big enough to affect the General Election? Will Alec Salmond’s party gain votes from Scots who want independence, but are no longer willing to vote SNP?
Support for independence is now down to 42% with opposition to independence up to 51%. Yes support highest amongst the young.
I doubt this latest news story will be decisive, but the SNP is fracturing (52-48 in the leadership election between polar opposite candidates), many key services are not performing, Johnson and Truss have gone (Sunak not as divisive), Sturgeon was a political giant compared to any possible successor, the strategy for an independence vote has collapsed, and Labour are hoovering up the support the SNP are dropping - without doing much positive themselves (much like Starmer in Westminster).
I'm sure Labour, not Alba, will be the gainers.

She may have thought that she could handle any fallout locally until until the National Crime Agency showed an interest, and that's when things suddenly changed.Originally posted by JamesWales View PostCan't stand the SNP. Doesn't surprise me if there is some fairly high level corruption going on.
