Rachel Reeves was on R4's Today programme this am, made it clear by that this policy would be in full swing by the middle of a Labour parliament, and not at the outset as originally envisaged. Labour are very much blaming the Tories handling of the economy for the delay. whether you agree with that or not, i do wonder whether other areas could have been downgraded given the timing of this announcement when N America is on fire is sensible?
