It's not about pay, which I am sure would garner near zero support, and they aren't a group of people I have much time for. That said it does seem interesting in terms of the AI element and the threat to their jobs and I can imagine they may have a point about streaming companies? I dunno really

You say that as if all actors and writers are millionaires. The vast vast majority are not.

The bigger ones are coming out to support average people who just want a wage thay covers their living costs.
