Will leave the Cabinet at the next reshuffle and will not stand at the next election. Quite surprising news that, I would have thought he was a Tory who could be popular among the electorate, not just party members like most of the other leadership candidates are.

I would have thought Head of Nato or something like that. A bit like the Labour defence secretary, forget his first name something Robinson.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostWill leave the Cabinet at the next reshuffle and will not stand at the next election. Re: Ben Wallace.
Foiled by the US in his pitch to become next head of NATO and facing the backlash of telling the Ukrainians they should show some gratitude for the shopping list of armaments that have been delivered…. Then reading the tea leaves on the electoral prospects of his party…. He’s off to spend more time with his raging ambitions.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostWill leave the Cabinet at the next reshuffle and will not stand at the next election. Not sure about in History, but within my lifetime by a clear distance, from day one of Johnson and then his successors it's been a despicable effort. We've had some poor efforts, but this mob are incomparable.Originally posted by Hilts View PostJust another useless Tory tw@t.
Part of the worst govt in history. Just running away and embarrassed.

Did you not live through the Blair / Brown years ? or the John Major Govt ? or even the Winter of discontent year - with unions running the country.Originally posted by Heathblue View PostNot sure about in History, but within my lifetime by a clear distance, from day one of Johnson and then his successors it's been a despicable effort. I'd take a look at those years before judging

The tory boys will always say what about .......etc etc
The key here is for the next government to put PR in place and then sharpen itself up
If it does the Tories will be on the fringes forever which will be great for the majority of this country that is anti Conservative
I would put something in starmers tea and get him to agree to step down as soon as possible to seal the deal 🤝

You are obsessed with PR - yet we had the vote on you lost - grow some and get on with your next w ank.
I see that Starma has now called in for assistance from the Epstein pedo associate Peter Mandelson...if Mandy is the answer - Starma is asking the wrong question.
ps - you cant just introduce PR - it has to be done through a referendum - like it was last time (and PR lost)

Yes I did, the day I started my apprenticeship, the unions were on a 3 day week and I stand by my opinion that this government is by a distance the most disgraceful that I have lived through.Originally posted by pipster View PostDid you not live through the Blair / Brown years ? or the John Major Govt ? or even the Winter of discontent year - with unions running the country.

The Blair years apart from his stupid and reckless spending towards the end .....which the Tories have done , many times in their history ......and the insane invasion of Iraq were times of stability and prosperity for manyOriginally posted by Heathblue View PostYes I did, the day I started my apprenticeship, the unions were on a 3 day week and I stand by my opinion that this government is by a distance the most disgraceful that I have lived through.
I was glad when he went and it should have been earlier
Lots of tory voters did fine under Blair which makes it all the more amusing to hear them try and remind everyone how bad a prime minister he was
For me Blair brought shape and discipline to the Labour Party but failed to attack tory housing policy and let a lot of working class people down
I think by the time brown took over labour was finished really as a political party , I don't think it's been up to much since and the sooner it merges with the rest of the opposition the better
