Re: Llanishen Reservoir
Will probably take a walk up there this weekend, a win for the residents :thumbup:Originally posted by cyril evans awaydays View Posthttps://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/...23-year-battle
Must admit I don't have any skin in the game on this but it sounds like a good news story. I vaguely remember the original Croesy bigging up the private development of the site but it seems a win for local activism and some enlightenment from Dwr Cymru.

Tidy. I might go for a stroll up there tomorrow. Does anyone know if the NHS dentist there is taking on new patients?Originally posted by cyril evans awaydays View Posthttps://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/...23-year-battle

Re: Llanishen Reservoir
Welsh Water is the model that all UK water authorities should adopt. A not for profit core - that contracts outs some services to the private sector to do the work.
Their customer service is fantastic, they arent in it for the cash - they are in it to give people a decent water supply - they could do better at trying to fix the leeks though..
