Re: Raac concrete found at St David's Hall
Live nation are now fine to purchase.
Enjoy.
As far as I'm aware there's nothing inherently wrong with RAAC concrete but it does need to be properly fitted but I would think considering the construction with the neighboring St David's 2, I wouldn't be surprised if there is an issue here.
EDIT: Read the article, seems fine and OK to ignore

Is there any concrete evidence to support thisOriginally posted by tforturton View PostLet's be honest, now this is out, anything they need to knock down will suddenly develop RAAC concrete disease. It's a brilliant idea to get rid of unwanted buildings. Saves burning them down, anyway.
Didn’t the Arms Park have concrete cancer ?

I'm doubtful that regular maintenance would be able to spot suspect/crumbling beams behind artificial ceilings.Originally posted by sneggyblubird View PostWell St Davids certainly is the right age but all the experts I've listened to say it's to do with how well the buildings are maintained.

The fact it's closed and it's being inspected for RAAC by the council suggests the deal isn't over the line.Originally posted by TWGL1 View PostHas the council played a blinder here by selling the venue ?
