went to see the play the housemates at the Sherman Thearte in Cardiff last night

based on a true story regarding disabled people and how they were treated in ely hospital and how by the actions of a few at the time in 1970's changed the world

very moving scenes at the end in front of a packed house

think the show finishes this week and would highly recommend seeing it

Interesting piece about it on BBC breakfast the other day. It was basically the mistreatment of disabled people, and housing of them in institutions that led to the house share in the first place. They also interviewed one of the other residents who was in the band they formed.
