    Not the rugby team..the general election

    Notable because Jacinda Adern was praised so much for her Covid response and was a general darling of the media for sometime.

    Labour absolutely smashed the 2020 election getting 50% of the vote to the opposition's 26%

    Now they've been kicked out. There aren't many govts in power during Covid that have lasted.

    Should add - Jacinda Adern herself stepped down earlier this year.

            I dont know any of the personalities involved but it's amazes me that people believe in democracy until someone they dont like gets elected - and then it becomes unfair and corrupt. Put's them in the same ball park as Trump and Corbyn - when both tried to claim they actually did win afterall but just not on the same rules.

                We currently have a Pm in the UK who has been voted in by no one, the one before him was gotten rid of by the mother wefers whilst she at least was given a mandate of some sort by her party.
