Do any of you old codgers on here have a stair lift and would recommend the company that you used? I have a back problem and could use some recommendations. Thanks.

Bit pricey. Was wondering if there was anything decent for less coin.

We've got a Handicare stairlift. It was funded through Occupational Health for our daughter so can't give you an exact price, but I think you're looking for about £6k for a straight staircase. Costs increase when you start adding in turns and swivel chairs. There's also the option of a refurbished model as many get removed from properties after the resident passes away or moves to residential care.
