"council tax and personal tax do not fall into the jurisdiction of policing' and findings had been passed on to Stockport Council and HMRC." - In other words she will be getting a bill for dodging the tax / not paying the correct amount or declaring it (depending on your point of view)

She's just committed Labour to recognising the Palestinian state when they win on July 4th (I didnt think that was official Labour party policy as yet)? - it should be in my opinion.

Did you miss this in the news Pipsy: HM Revenue and Customs also looked into Angela Rayner’s tax arrangements relating to the sale of her first home, at her request, and it is understood that no further action is being taken.

There are a few Conservatives in this thread who have been left with egg on their faces by yesterday’s news. It’s strange how some of them are unrepentant when shown to be wrong, yet they have so little to say when the allegations of corruption are against members of their party.

By contrast, there are plenty of left leaning contributors on here who are happy to let justicetake its course when Labour politicians are accused of corruption - in doing so, they show the maturity that the people who have been proved wrong in this thread often accuse them of lacking.
