Another MP standing down at the election. Got to say that when I was living in Cardiff, Mr Brennan was most helpful on the one occasion I was in contact with him about a personal matter.

Isnt that what he is paid to do ? eg help his constituents (when he is not getting his tax payer funded white goods delivered to his Cardiff address - rather than his official London address obviously).Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostAnother MP standing down at the election. Back in the day - he used to 'party hard' in Cameo with his brother.

Someone born in Ely has delusions of grandeur and wishes to be regarded as one of the nouveau riche. Is it surprising they despise the Hoi Polloi that are the bedrock of the Labour party?Originally posted by Dave Blue View PostOne we have come to expect. It’s what he/she is.

We're in an era when sitting MPs abandon their constituents to go to Australia and appear on I'm A Celebrity, so I think it's fair to praise one for doing their job well.Originally posted by pipster View PostIsnt that what he is paid to do ? eg help his constituents (when he is not getting his tax payer funded white goods delivered to his Cardiff address - rather than his official London address obviously).

Who else would I be talking about, Sherlock?Originally posted by pipster View PostIf you are talking about Nadine Dorris or Hancock - 100% agree with you.
Eitherway - there are stories from the Cameo, that happened - and it involved a lot more than champers, enjoy the rest of your night

Re: Kevin Brennan
You appear to have completely misunderstood why I posted that link. It’s an article about allegations against the Chancellor of the time, one of which related to cocaineuse. There has also been a very persistent rumour about cocaine use by Michael Gove as well - my view on this is that, as long as it never obviously affected how they did their jobs, then, like the writer of the article says, why should I be that bothered about what they shove up their nose? The writer says that it’s to be expected that someone with Osborne andGove’s money would have come across cocaine in their youth and I agree with that.Originally posted by pipster View PostWho cares ? - I care, do you ?

If a paper with the Guardian’s politics can publish an opinion piece like that and someone with my politics isn’t bothered about drug taking allegations against prominent Conservative politicians, then I’m hardly going to get too worked up about your mean spirited allegations against a long standing Labour MP, who never reached higher office who was very helpful to me on the one occasion I approached him as a constituent.
