  • Maternity Leave For Some ( unfair (

What about male footballer rights to extra leave, after all its their thingys doing the up front thrusting work & initial seeding .

Even non binery folk are cared for.

    Shameful of FIFA.

Bring back Sepp Blatter and tighter ladies kit idea.

Fifa has made changes to further protect female footballers and coaches during and after pregnancy, as well as in non-biological motherhood.

It includes the addition of a minimum of 14 weeks paid maternity leave for coaches, having previously been in place for just players.

If choosing to adopt, players and coaches will be granted a period of leave that ranges dependent on their child's age, while family leave is available for parents who are not the biological mother.

There are changes to player registration, allowing clubs to sign players outside of a transfer window if a squad member has taken maternity, adoption or family leave.

I've read the original post a few times, but I can't see what the issue is. Don't all women get statutory maternity leave, by law? And that applies to adoption as well. Okay, maybe not in every country, but certainly in the UK. So what's the issue?

Think men get paternity / maternity leave rights under UK employment law FIFA need to provide the equivalent to woman to ensure it is a level playing field and equal workers rights .

I do hope they don't allow breast feeding breaks in games or period stops .
