We need a list of everybody who is responsible for putting Starmer into Downing Street, because without them what comes next would not have been possible, and they will need to be reminded about that.

Who could we vote for to assure “what comes next” doesn’t?

              Re: postal votes

At the risk of being very non-PC, dare I ask why so many of the population use postal votes? Our neighbours on either side of us use postal votes and yet both drive cars so it would involve a 5 minute drive to our local polling station! Even if they didn't, I'd be happy to give them a lift there.

IMO you should need a very good explanation as to why you can't make it to your local polling station which after all is open from 7.00am to 10.00pm. Apparently 21% of votes cast in the 2019 election were postal - it will be interesting to see what the percentage is this time.

I would like to see the Australian system employed here. Turnout there is typically 95+%!

Just what many prefer rightly or wrongly. Personally I like going down to the station.

It is plainly more open to abuse, especially all the ID checks for which essentially none exist with postal votes.

It won't change though and I agree people should have the right to do it.
