Jeremy Hunt gave the voters of Bramley, a village in his constituency, the “brilliant news” yesterday that they are able to drink tap water again

Brilliant news - the drinking water restriction for Bramley has been released as of 5 pm. Letters will be distributed to the impacted area overnight. Enjoy the tap water Bramley. https://t.co/dEIKB9No1g

Labour need to be pretty careful Bob.

Unemployment is low. Wages are rising much faster than inflation, which itself is low. The FTSE is good, quarterly GDP growth is 0.7%, annual GDP growth is essentially in line with European peers. That's contrasted against things that are less good; rents, inequality, energy prices etc but you need to be pretty confident of making things better or people won't look to the Tories or Labour for answers and it may be that France, Austria, Netherland, Italy shows what could happen there

            You never stop.

Who cares about the FTSE? Investment has flat-lined since Brexit, labour productivity stagnated and the UK has lower % employment levels than Germany - unemployment is low in the UK partially because there are so many economically inactive people. And how's the trade in goods (not services) going?

            Go figure, Bluebottle.

Labour might use public funds to strategically grow the real economy - like green and tech jobs. They certainly won't be giving it all away to their rich donors like the Tories.

Loads care about the FTSE! Huge sums of people and companies assets are in it. Loads care about unemployment too, even if you dont. Loads care about wages v inflation. And yes, there is bad news as acknowledged but theres good also, which you never do. I guess a change in govt will mean that you miraculously will start to. That's a good thing.

Having presented the current state of the country as a disaster to people, you had better be confident in making it better or people will look elsewhere!

As for this thread, imagine being triggered by an MP tweeting constituents about their water being turned on again! Bizarre!

Anyway, only a day until it's the party you supports responsibility so it will be interesting to see how they do. I fully expect on balance to see no real differences.

I'd be genuinely stunned if there are no differences.

Having the PM voted in lasting the full term and not having 3 like your lot would be a big difference.

It's killing him. He's be quite erratic lately. I do worry about Jimbo, i told him to take a rest, relax, put his feet up. He didn't listen.

I don't support Labour. Check through my posts, I have never said I did.

                            P.S. I can't vote - I'm an American.
