Iranian election

Iranian election has been won by 'reformist' Masoud Pezeshkian. I'm normally a bit sceptical of the reformist tag in relation to Iran, as it normally just means a bit less of a bast*rd than the other guy.

But the positions of this bloke do seem incredibly positive. The fact that he was allowed to run suggests that those behind the scenes who hold power might want to come in from the cold.

I'd not immediately call him a bustard and give him a chance if he does engage with the West and hopefully Trump and peace may return to the conflict areas in the world same in Ukraine /. Russia
