  • Russian ambassador Kelin on Kuenssberg programme tomorrow

I see this disgusting, smug, sneering apologist for Putin has done an interview with Laura K which will be aired tomorrow morning. Worth watching I think.

I remember reading an article about him when some MP's wanted him sent back to Moscow in protest but others argued that he should be allowed to stay, so that he could be summoned to the Foreign Office at any time, day or night, to make his life, shall we say, somewhat uncomfortable.

You may remember his interview with Clive Myrie a couple of years ago - worth watching if you haven't seen it.

In a BBC interview, Andrei Kelin is shown CCTV footage of Russian soldiers committing alleged war crimes.

When’s the interview with Ukrainian's leader being broadcast regarding the same issue , next week ?

Whilst is disgraceful, it’s also happening on both sides and where is the drive for constructive peace talks?

I think peace talks may not be that far away, probably not long after the U.S. presidential election. Possible that sadly Ukraine may have to give up some land in the east but the "prize" for them might be subsequent NATO membership. Putin wins round 1 but then inherits a NATO country right on his border?

I really don't think that will happen. It's a risk not worth taking.

If Putin wasn't been able to 'inherit' Ukraine when it wasn't a member of NATO it's highly unlikely that he could do so when NATO is embedded in the country and officially part of the alliance. It would be sheer folly for Putin to challenge the full might of NATO when his forces weren't even equipped to defeat Ukraine in the first place (and as planned).

Possibly making him next look south rather than west.

              Who would have guessed that?

“We have been in continuous contact over the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. As I have said before, we continue to believe that these disputes should be resolved through peaceful means. We support restoration of peace and stability as soon as possible. Our efforts prioritise humanity. India is ready to provide all possible assistance in the upcoming period”

What he actually said for those interested ^

Another media outlet stated what I posted earlier in the thread , if you have been following Indian politics since this conflict started ( which clearly you haven’t) then you’re missing the whole issue.

Nice try though. What else do you want to keep up to speed with BRICS ?

Russia and China were never meant to form an alliance, and today, we see Putin and Xi shaking hands as they smile for their milestone achievement. Iran and Saudi Arabia were expected to remain eternal enemies. India and China were predicted to keep their conflict ongoing. The https://t.co/c08sX8P7YM

Russian President Putin praises India. Says, PM Modi despite pressure on him, took action which are in interest of India. India cannot be manipulated or intimidated into going against India’s interest and India’s people. Calls Modi leader of Global Scale. https://t.co/pfzfq5s4mj

Can you post a link to the media outlet saying what you posted earlier in the thread? Because neither of those links you posted come remotely close to it. And before you say the usual "why should I spoon feed you?" I've looked hard for anything that says it and it doesn't seem to exist apart from your post on the Cardiff City Messageboard

India has provided support to Russia for the Ukraine war. India’s armed forces still rely heavily on armoured divisions and 97 percent of its 3,740 tanks are Russian-made. India won’t publicly discuss this issue but rest assured they are allies and are backing Russia.

As an aside have you read any reports regarding the number of Ukrainian troops KIA or injured since the conflict started as I’ve looked everywhere and it doesn’t seem to exist ?

Can you read? He's asked you to provide a link to back up your fairy tale, not babble on with more nonsense.

Nonsense 😂 Just because western media doesn’t report what’s happening doesn’t necessarily imply it’s not true. Ultimately if what I’ve suggested is bull why feel compelled to stick your uneducated opinion in on the subject?

Have you any figures on Ukrainian losses and killed in action, apparently it’s horrific but I can’t find it.
