  • Swansea Night Out

Spent Friday night / early Saturday in Wind Street Swansea getting hammered but must admit Swansea is a great place for a night out haven't been before . Lot's of bars and live music and 3 pound a pint in most places till 10 which is pretty decent .Lot's of Irish rugby fans there down for the game in Cardiff and bumped into a Cardiff city women player

the downside of visiting Swansea is the Swansea bay / marina area .Just lot's of apartments with very little amenities there . walked around most of the afternoon around that area and it was like a ghost town very few people about

Cardiff is far superior in that area

Anyone on here had a night out in Swansea before ?

Wind street night out is shite IMO, Junior is playing in Swansea next weekend, we are going to watch he's playing in a show, the music of Joni Mitchell.

Mozz, How do you cope at your age with getting hammered on a night out? I reckon it would take me a week to recover if i did the same now, and i think that i'm a little younger than you. I'd be finished if i went on the piss now.

Getting leathered in city centres is surely best left to Orange people ?

Well been training hard the last 6 months . Working out in the gym , circuit training , boxing and the odd bit of training with the futsal lads a number times a week has kept me in good nick . Think i,m fitter now than anytime in the last 20 years . Could probably play a full 90 minutes football if i wanted

so every now and again i have a night out whether a night out on the beer or a music concert and let myself go .
Couldn't do it every week mind !

That's where i'm different to you. If i'm fat and out of shape i just eat more shit, stop exercising etc, i don't drink so that's not a problem for me. If i'm on it in terms of weight and fitness (which i am at the moment) i'm clean, no rubbish. It isn't even difficult when i'm fit, i just don't want to eat rubblish.

Food was a big problem for me initially but I spar box with a South African lady and she gave me a diet to stick too about 3 months ago and I stuck with that haven't weakened so far !

You have to have mental strength in terms of the right food intake and regular exercise as you get older

Agreed. I cut the carbs right back, i don't need them a much a i did when i was younger. Metabolism has slowed and i'm not as active now. I train 5 times a week, 3 cardio and two of free weights, with some own body weight exercises thrown in. I'm doing well at the moment, i'm 5ft 7 and 147 lbs (welterweight :hehe:) i'm not into counting calories and all that shit, jut clean eating.
