I just re-read that thread. You'll see my posts were pretty consistent. Others less so.

So having re-read and understood the context of WB's sociopathic post of today, what do you think?

What where he said "is that the one who voted with republicans?"

I never posted any opinions in that original thread, they are direct quotes from this news source.

I thought your scales would put him in his place. Guess not!
This post is troubling. I said no such thing.

It was Newsweek who said she voted with the Republicans. In the same article, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was quoted as calling the shooting "a politically motivated assassination".

So that absolves her somehow from being a Democrat does it?

Jeez, undoubtedly and obviously not. I don't really know why Cyril dragged me into that, I'm genuinely trying to work out what he wanted.

Political violence is always, absolutely wrong. I cannot imagine being more clear on that. In the Minnesota governors example you have two people murdered very likely for being on the left / Democrat / or for having particular views of social positions, whatever it may be. In the Charlie Kirk case you have a man very likely murdered for being on the right / Republican / or for having particular views on social positions, whatever it might be. Political extremism is always wrong, it exists across the spectrum and that has always been my point. 👍

What is political extremism and why is it wrong? Surely it's a relative position which only arose in the French parliament after the Revolution and anyway, one man's meat is another man's poison! Or to put it a tad more germane: one man's Hitler (sorry to have blasphemed) is another man's Boris Johnson!
