One has just been released because he was 'not involved' - but had the pleasure of being arrested by plod for more than 18 hours and having his racial profile publicised around the world.

I would not object to being wrongly arrested under such exceptional circumstances, but at least you got to do your little virtue signalling dance

Seemingly a lot of Forest fans from their London branch on that train. Horrific for all involved. Knife crime has got to be addressed seriously.

As this happened just after leaving Peterborough I did wonder about our lot being safe.

The other Brit may well be a dangerous lunatic. Eyewitnesses claim he was standing with his knife after the attack shouting to the police for them to kill him. Not sure about the latest definition of 'lunatic', but that must tick a few boxes?

Did seem a bit odd that there were two people arrested….

There are so many things you do not object to….this does not surprise me at all.

It all depends on the circumstances of course. A traumatic mass casualty event would be one such scenario given all of the panic and mayhem taking place, and the possibility of conflicting and/or inaccurate witnesses statements. What would you do then, send all the suspects home with a hot cup of tea and tell them you'll be in touch in a few days after you have studied all the security and personal cell phone video footage?

Once again you jumped the shark, at the time i posted this it was known that it wasn't terrorist related hence i made no mention of it because i knew!!, others have introduced other nuances into the thread because being virtuos is a thing on here, i have made repeated references to how the UK is/has becoming lawlessness of recent, and this shall we call it an incident ? reinforces my point, do you think its too much to ask to be able to feel safe on public transport ? i use it 6 days per week sometimes 7, there are pictures going about of the guy with the knife, maybe they are fake i do not know but if faced with this situation I would say it would have been a terrifying situation, additionally there are also threads on X from some faced with the terror that happened on that train, if faced with that knife, i do not think that the situation would have been worse because the person wasn't a pot bellied 50 year old white dude, I would not see colour race or religion in a situation like like this, just evil and in the world we live in at the moment Evil keeps going lower and lower or higher and higher depending of how you see the world and again as i have made reference to, the left have gone from tree loving peace huggers to the violence of Anteefa, have a good evening/day, I'll be on public transport again tomorrow .

The guy who carried out this attack has most certainly got mental health issues. Whether he has just flipped or whether it is the culmination of a him suffering with this for a long time will hopefully be discovered.

I think your brain is getting eaten by social media. Shoplifting has definitely increased but if you read social media you would believe you can't go for a walk in the UK without getting stabbed.

I was on a train through London not long ago where a guy a few seats up was clearly trying to provoke a response from anybody he could. He was on the phone to someone and saying how shit everyone on the train was, completely pathetic. It did make me think at the time though that a train is the worst place for something like this to happen, I was tucked away in a very tight seating bit and would have been completely helpless if someone came at me.
