I believe the government of the time was being led by Boris Johnson supported by Dominic Cummins and Matt Hancock, all pilloried in the report. I think you will find my posts, like many others, were critical of the tardiness of their response and their crass behaviour through the crisis. Others who have posted here were all over the place.

As far as jabs are concerned I have a blood condition so I believe I recently received clot shot #12. Still here though so I guess that trust the science shit has some benefit!

I lost my Father-in-Law, transferred from home to hospital before he passed. He might have been one of the 22k referenced today so there is a personal bit beyond my own views. I always thought that isolating the strong from the weak and then vaccinating the strong to protect the weak was the most sensible path even though the risk to the strong was very low. Still believe that today!

You’re the biggest comedian on here , and people are entitled to have a chance to make an informed decision based on risk and lifestyle.

Tell me , do you exercise regularly, eat well and drink to moderation, if not I suggest you take heed and start doing that. To me people who don’t, usually are a drain the NHS and are a ticking time bomb. They must be a bit slow in the head considering the knowledge that’s coming out from health professionals on the importance of a healthy lifestyle and well regulated diet.
How much are your prescriptions costing the NHS internet hardman ?

agree about Johnson but many medical people at the time and now think wearing a mask during the covid wasn't effective at all .

Of course, the excess deaths and increase in cancer rates are unexplained, and nobody knows where they came from. Maybe it could be climate change?

Isn’t that just the bodies immune system? Cancer patients under massive stress anyway just couldn’t cope with Covid at all,particularly terminal ones. Putting Covid down as cause of death when they had terminal cancer was just wrong…..

Yes particularly for an island, we could have easily closed our borders and introduced social distancing etc….as ever, woefully unprepared for anything here, like we will be when the next crisis comes.

The fact that data was collected with a plastic PCR test that would pick up any viral infections within 60 days probably suggested lockdowns were invented as a means of population control
