I can't really respond to detached vague statements like this..

I am not sure what you are referring to tbh. I very rarely base anything I think on news sources, most of what I talk about on here - nobody in the media cares or talks about. I just say what I see. Most of the media I would choose to read disagrees with me on migration, welfare, WFA, private schools etc. I base almost everything I think on one thing - fixed costs are too high (house price related and delivery model related i.e. energy). I don't know what you base what you think on, because you never get far enough into a post to say what you think.

The media spent months invoking doom and gloom every time some kind of macro indicator didn't hit a forecast precisely because reeves left herself with so little headroom that she was going to miss her rules, it's hardly surprising she's seeking a bit more.

I note that the commies clamour for the Epstein files have gone on the back burner, has something changed ? or have they suddenly realised their favourite follows are more likely to be implicated rather than the target ?

I'm sure you will have seen the latest vaccine studies which will soon gain traction, fancy hiding the damming data or just plain ignoring it, it would appear that the death of children in the vaccine trials just wasn't enough to put a halt on things the dam is breaking.

If by 'ridiculous budget situation' you mean a few nothing tax rises to create a situation where the government is less affected by .x changes to macro-economic forecasts then sure I think the media have probably pushed her into being a bit less blindly optimistic but constantly talking about how shit the UK is.

Yes everybody already knows that governments try and use the media to drip feed/test policy. It would seem weird if they were in cahoots given the massively negative coverage Reeves has gotten since the budget.
