  • Latest Welsh Opinion Poll

You Gov , so a touch more reliable than most of the recent ones

Plaid look likely to be biggest party but will have to work with others to govern

Labour have lost 40 percent of voters to Plaid and most of the rest to smaller parties , only 10 percent of labour voters have moved to reform , the vast majority of reform support coming from the tory voting crew .....absolutely no surprise on both of those observations

Plaids gain is from labour being so utterly hopeless and the swing is to keep reform out ....which is great as far as I am concerned

Labour are going to get absolutely stuffed , only on 10 percent , 1 above the conservatives

    Re: Latest Welsh Opinion Poll

I don't believe it. Not in the sense I question their methodology or that the margin of error needs changing. I just don't think this will be the situation in May.

I really want Labour out in Wales, I think they have had their time (for now) but polling at 10% I don't buy that. I think in practice they will get more, slightly dragging Plaid down and I think the Tories will get a bit more too, likely dragging Reform down a touch.

Reason being that I think Labours news will improve slightly and I think the Tories will do too, as memories of their government fall further into the past, as well as Badenoch being increasingly impressive.

Reform and Plaid are risks too. If things stabilise a little, then people will be less inclined to take risks.

Will still be a momentous election, I just don't be thinking quite as momentous as this poll

Labour are going to get leathered , it will be a slap for the last few years in Wales and a big slap for Starmer the utter clown

Plaid need to be careful as a bigger vote for them will come from pissed off labour voters than it be be from those wanting independence

I wonder where they canvas this stuff, just basing it on the Caerphilly bi election isn’t real as they were all just tactical votes to stop reform unless that happens all over with plaid? It doesn’t really matter anymore to be honest. I’m over it…I couldn’t care less who runs Wales. The country is f*cked. Crack on…..
