Surely Farage is associated more with the number seven position.

Strange from the club. Its worth noting that Ipswich (or Colchester) is the local team to the Clacton constituency and working with local MPs is important for clubs. So too it's fair enough for organisations to hire rooms or do stadium tours and the like. This seemed to go much further though, and very strange really and clearly going to divide fans. Worse things happen at sea though I guess.

I can't think of another similar example like this?

Worse things happen at sea is a rather ironic phrase in the circumstances....
